This D-44 is referred to as a D44M with the M denoting "Modernized".  It was Polish made in 1959 and "Modernized" in the 1970's with the addition of an electrical system and lights.

 

It is in​ original condition as part of a group we obtained directly from the Polish government in early 2015. Ukraine subsequently bought the remaining cannons later in the same year.

This cannon includes cut breach parts and telescopic direct fire scope. Inert 85mm dummy rounds are available in used or new condition.

Similar D-44M's are still in use in a few countries and has been observed in Ukraine.
